Routes
There is a 10KM run, 5KM Colour run, 5KM walk, 1KM & Tri-Run course option.
All distances will start and finish on the track. The 5KM & 10KM route will snake through mainly flat grassy fields around Allianz Park stadium.
1KM – The route is 2 and half times around the track in the stadium. Everyone is welcome to participate regardless of age, ability, or if you have children in a buggy. In the likelihood that we split the 1KM into 2 races for safety reasons, you will be assigned the PINK or BLUE event. You must attend the event you have been given which you will find out in your registration pack.
5KM Colour Run – Challenge yourself with our 5KM route situated on flat grassy fields. Have the option of running through the Colour Zones to get covered in coloured powder!
5KM Walk – Want to take in the scenic greenery as you walk around? This is ideal for those who may not consider themselves as distance runners but are happy walking with friends and family. You still have the option to go through the 5km Colour Zones if you want to be covered in coloured powder however you will not be allowed through with a pram/buggy.
10KM – This route is 2 laps of the 5KM route and is generally recommended for the more serious and regular distance runners.
Tri-Run – Push yourself in our most challenging event by completing the 10KM, 5KM and 1KM to cover a massive 16KM! This is only recommended for serious runners.
Please note, the 5KM & 10KM routes are not wheelchair or buggy friendly. Please contact the Maccabi GB office on 0208-457-2333 to discuss further.
There will be water stations on the 5KM and 10KM routes, however we recommend running or walking with your own water bottle as well.
No. Adults, children and families are all welcome as The Maccabi GB Community Fun Run is aimed at every fitness level.
There is a choice of either a 1KM run/walk, 5KM Colour Run, 5KM walk or 10KM course, so absolutely anybody can participate, from the youngest to the oldest…so no excuses!
Every runner will receive a Maccabi GB Community Fun Run medal.
As this is an inclusive event, we will not be measuring every participant's time through chip timing. Similar to 2019, there will be pacemakers running the 10km and 5km route so if you would like to complete your distance in a certain time, you have the opportunity to follow the pacemakers for guidance..
5km Colour Run
A colour run will include different colour zones which are placed around the route. They will be approximately 10 metres long and when a participant goes through a colour zone, they will be covered in coloured powder. The coloured powder is made from natural ingredients. A participant has the choice of whether they go through each colour zone or not.
You do not need to participate in the 5km colour zones but can still run the 5km route. When you reach every colour zone, you will have the option to go through this or round it.
We recommend that all participants who are doing the 5km Colour Run wear sunglasses and bandanas to protect their eyes and mouths.

Charities and Fundraising
There is no minimum amount to be raised, however this can change depending upon each individual charity. Please be aware that your registration fee goes towards the cost of running the event. It does not go towards your chosen charity or school.
This is a communal charity event and the more money you raise, the more your chosen charity or school will be able to benefit from your participation.
On the registration form, you will have to choose a charity or school to run for on the day. There is an expectation that you will actively be fundraising for your chosen charity or school.
Please be aware that if you register on the day, your participation fee will include a £10 donation towards your chosen charity / school due to not being able to fundraise prior to the day.
Yes - click here to download a sponsorship form.
You can run for only one charity. We want every charity to maximise the opportunity of receiving sponsorship from your very generous donations. If you are running for your school, they may be partnering with another charity / charities. Please enquire about this with your school.
We have a large list of amazing charities and schools who are all raising money for their vital causes. Please browse through the Maccabi GB Community Fun Run charities/schools list here.

We at Maccabi GB take full and extensive measures to ensure the safety of all people in attendance. There will be a First Aid area with an Ambulance ready for all eventualities on the day. The First Aiders will also be roaming the whole site throughout the event.

Also you can direct your children to talk to anyone who is wearing a bright pink or bright blue Maccabi GB Community Fun Run Staff or Volunteer t-shirt.
The Maccabi GB Community Fun Run works together with the CST to ensure that the security and safety of the event is of the highest possible standard. All measures and precautions are taken for the safety of the community.
